Zimbra Collaboration Suite is an email and calendar server plus much more, looking to be a next-generation Microsoft Exchange server. In addition to email and calendar, ZCS provides document storage and editing, instant messaging, and simplified administrative controls all in a webmail user interface built with the latest AJAX web technology. ZCS also provides mobility and syncs to desktop client applications.
Damion Alexander is Manager of Networks and Systems at Bard College, a position in which he quickly migrated the campus to Zimbra Collaboration Suite. He has also gained prior experience by managing Vassar College’s Zimbra installation. Damion also uses the Open Source Edition of Zimbra for his personal email services.
